In Plants That Earn Their Keep scientists are developing plants that can detect minute amounts of TNT in the air, and drain of chlorophyl when they do.  The plants could potentially be used in airports or even outdoors and can sniff out TNT much better than bomb sniffing dogs. Tweet

More uprisings and protests against governments who’ve been in power a little too long. I think it’s great and i commend these people standing up against corruption. This one is in Cairo where ‘officers stormed the gatherings, they beat anyone who happened to be standing in the way’.
