It’s been a crazy month for me personally.  I started this project as a student and a barista at Starbucks and I sit here today a gallery assistant at TWO galleries and I quit my job at Starbucks and became a full-time freelance web design business owner lady…totally nuts!!…..however, I needed to finish my month with a bang so I did 4 glitter paintings today.  You’ll find them posted to their corresponding date.

What I loved about this photo in today’s paper was that you have this heavy artillery in the back of this truck and it’s being secured by these really feminine ornate florally printed blankets.  I thought about the family that might have owned them before.  What were their lives like before all of this?  Did they picnic in the sun?  I glittered a flower on a blanket to celebrate the softer times…
