I constructed My House in Habana  from the pages of AM New York, a free daily newspaper designed for morning commuters. The whole paper is designed to be read in the span of a subway ride, so it is usually pretty sparse with information.

For the first time in over 50 years, people will be able to legally buy and sell homes in Cuba.

While home ownership does not fit directly into Cuba’s communist system, the reform will be a way to limit how much property people can own. Under the new law, people will be limited to one permanent residence and one vacation property.

This new is intended for Cuban citizens, but what could develop in the near future? How cheap could I buy a stunning Spanish Colonial home near pristine beaches and 57 Chevys?
