“Want, Give, Get”
I constructed Want, Give, Get from the pages of AM New York, a free daily newspaper designed for morning commuters. The whole paper is designed to be read in the span of a subway ride, so it is usually pretty sparse with information.
Once again, Here are the numbers after national Black Friday at Walmart:
20 pepper- sprayed in Los Angeles.
1 man shot in San Leandro, CA, resisting armed robbers in
the Walmart parking lot.
2 people robbed in the Walmart parking lot in South Carolina.
3 people injured in altercations in the Walmart electronics dept. in
upstate NY.
1 Arizona grandfather “roughed up” by police for alleged
shoplifting after he tucked a video game into the waistband of his pants and
lifted his grandchild so he would not be trampled by the crowds.
1 person arrested and pepper-sprayed in North Carolina when
Walmart customers fought over discounted cell phones.
1 person “stun-gunned” after hitting another shopper while
fighting over video games.
1 person arrested after a fight at a jewelry counter in
Florida.
1 Michigan teenager injured after being knocked down by
crowds and trampled going into the Walmart electronics Dept.
