“Gridlock”
I constructed Gridlock from the pages of AM New York, a free daily newspaper designed for morning commuters. The whole paper is designed to be read in the span of a subway ride, so it is usually pretty sparse with information.
Tonight, they are lighting the tree at Rockefeller Center. There will be huge crowds for this event, so subways and roads will be packed with people. President Obama will also be in town this evening, which means many roads will be closed for his motorcade. Best of luck to those who venture out tonight. As for me, I’m watching the lighting from my apartment. It’s less crowded and I’ll get a better view.
Wow, my last post as a November 365 DOP Artist in Residence. It has been a real challenge to create daily (I missed Thanksgiving Day, but managed to make the other days) and to see the great work by the other contributing artists. Definitely a very fulfilling experience!
