Stephanie Tichenor works in many traditional craft mediums including machine and hand sewing, batik, weaving, sculptural forms in fabric, hand made/hand dyed felt, as well as photography, printmaking and painting.

Throughout her career Stephanie has chosen to work with children as subject, inspiration and as an educator. Stephanie has shown in group and solo shows in New York, New Jersey, Italy and Switzerland as well as several traveling shows. Other influences include cartoons, video games, boardwalk prizes, plastic bits, kids, toys, games, fruit, candy, sweets and treats. Previous works include paintings of stuffed animals and licorice.
