Kristine Hymøller’s investigation concerns the way in which we relate to constructional space as a system supporting power, beauty and wealth. Her sculptural work is often built on a range of visual and symbolic models.

In Beginning of 2008, she started an interdisciplinary body of work, Intimate Urban Living Sculpture.
Intimate Urban Living Sculpture is an interactive meeting between form and conditions, including sculpture, photographs, drawings and performances. It involves movement, position and posture; it involves the body in relation to the environment, to urbanism and architecture.

Kristine Hymøller is a Danish artist living in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She Studied at Gerrit Rietveld Academie, 1997-2000, Amsterdam, NL, and she graduated from Sandberberg Institute, 2000-2003, Amsterdam, NL. She has exhibited her work at galleries both nationally and internationally.
