Lindsey Muscato was raised in Chino, California. In 2006, she received her BFA in Painting and Drawing from California College of the Arts. Muscato has exhibited in solo exhibitions at Forthrite Printing in Oakland, California, and at Erica Tanov in Berkeley, California. Her group exhibitions include “What’s Missing Makes it Better: Negative Space as Subject,” at MacArthur b Arthur in Oakland, California; “Paper Works,” Marin Museum of Contemporary Art in Navato, California; and “Glamour Glory & the Good Old Days,” Paul Morris Gallery in New York, New York.

Muscato is currently working with the artist collective Gaia in Jersey City in their annual Wonder Women residency program, New News is Old News. Upcoming exhibitions include the “New News is Old News” residency exhibitions at Gallery Aferro in Newark, New Jersey, in May 2011, and at the Williamsberg Art & Historical Center in August, 2011. Muscato currently lives in Brooklyn New York.
