A.J. Bocchino received a BFA from Tulane University in New Orleans and an MFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia. He has had solo exhibitions at White Columns in New York City, Urban Glass Gallery in Brooklyn where he was resident artist, and at Hemphill Fine Arts in Washington, DC. He has exhibited
at Black and White Gallery, Lennon Weinberg, Number 35 Gallery, and Artists Space in New York City. Bocchino has participated in the Bronx Museum of Arts Artist-in-the-Marketplace program, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s residency at the Woolworth Building, the Marie Walsh Sharpe Space Program, and Dieu Donne Papermill’s Workspace Program. His work has been recognized by several publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Art on Paper and Artnet.com.
